Is this for garages or plant mechanics?
Both. Choose automotive, plant or a mixed workspace during setup. Track vehicle mileage or machine hours and keep site details with the job. You do not need to pay for two sector plans.
How does the trial work?
New business accounts receive 14 days from creation of their first workspace. The current pilot requires no payment card and never charges automatically. Public trials remain subject to the final launch checks; the signup page shows current availability. Existing trial end dates are preserved.
What happens after 14 days?
The launch plan is £25.00 per month for one business workspace. Paid checkout is being connected. You will review billing and tax details before subscribing; there is no automatic charge in the pilot. When a trial ends, editing is restricted and records remain available to view and download.
What counts as an SMS credit?
The launch allowance is 100 SMS credits per month once the TorqueWorx sender is approved. A long or Unicode message may use several credits. SMS is currently paused; extra-credit purchasing is not available yet. No extra SMS charge is taken automatically.
Will customers need an account?
Customers can open private estimate and invoice links without creating a TorqueWorx account. Your staff use their own email-code sign-in with the role you give them. No ChatGPT account is required.
Does it work without signal?
TorqueWorx currently needs an internet connection. Offline job recording and safe syncing are planned for plant and site work. They are not included as an available feature today.
Does the MOT check tell me a car is safe?
No. It shows recorded MOT information supplied by DVSA, including the latest test and historical readings. It is not a current inspection, valuation, tax check or a guarantee of roadworthiness. Some vehicles have no available MOT record.
